The SAVEDpreneur™ Spotlight: Sherrika Sanders, CEO & Founder of Transform the GAAP
Success in the world is typically measured by how much money a person has, material possessions, power, prestige, and titles. All things that can be taken away. My success in the Kingdom is not tangible — therefore, no person can take it from me.
Sherrika Sanders knows what it costs to succeed on the world’s terms — and she paid every bit of it before God redirected her. After years of excelling in demanding corporate spaces, from M&A to IPOs, she found herself unhappy, uncomfortable, and fasting for direction. God answered with a calling to entrepreneurship. What followed was not easy: months without income, a breast cancer diagnosis, a marriage tested to its breaking point. But through all of it, God was refining her. The old version of Sherrika could not sustain what God was building her for. Now she walks alongside high-achieving Christian wives and mothers who are carrying everything — and helping them find their way back to God’s pace.
Let's lean in.
Tell us who you are and when did you know God was calling you to do more and be more?
I mentor high-achieving Christian wives and mothers who are called to lead — yet quietly carrying the weight of being everything to everyone. After years of excelling in demanding corporate spaces, from M&A to IPOs, I learned firsthand that success means little if it costs the peace God promised. Now I walk alongside women who want to rise without burning out, guiding them back to clarity, confidence, and a leadership life aligned with God’s pace.
God started preparing me for this calling during COVID. I became unhappy and uncomfortable in my corporate role and knew it was time to move. So I did. But the feelings of being out of place did not go away. So I fasted. I asked God to give me direction — to tell me what He was calling me to do and where He wanted me to go. It was during that time of prayer and fasting that God led me to entrepreneurship. Through continual surrendering and deepening my intimate time with Him, God led me to serve the woman I once was.
What does it mean to be saved and how do you live a saved lifestyle?
Being saved means that I believe Jesus, the Son of God, died for my sins and rose again in three days. Living a saved lifestyle means intentionally showing up in a way that allows others to see God in me. It means I have to forgive. It means I love others with the love of God. I surrender, daily, to the will of God. I walk in my authority as a child of God, knowing that no weapon formed against me will prosper — it does not mean the weapons will not be formed. I seek God in all situations.
I have an active life of prayer, praise, and worship. I seek to help others learn more about God. I am intentional about spending time with Him and getting to know Him better through His Word.
While this may seem like a lot, the fact that He woke me up this morning makes it all worth it.
Success in the Kingdom looks different from the success of the world. How do you explain the difference?
Success in the world is typically measured by how much money a person has, material possessions, power, prestige, and titles. All things that can be taken away. My success in the Kingdom is not tangible — therefore, no person can take it from me.
My success in the Kingdom is established by continually giving God my yes. Living a life of obedience to the Lord marks my success in the Kingdom. Committing to fulfill the purpose He has for me. Being content in all situations. Because I know that all things work together for my good — no matter what it looks like in the natural.
What does having “vision” mean to you? What is your vision?
To me, having vision means that I know no matter what I see in the natural, it all belongs to God and everything will always work together for His good. Having and walking in this vision means I have completely surrendered to God, and my desires are aligned with His will.
I have a vision to help the women of Christ return to God’s pace in leadership, motherhood, and marriage. God gave me this vision after delivering me from trying to do it all, for all, on my own — leaving Him out of the picture. I had been calling on God as if He worked for me, not as if I work unto Him. Through my weekly business meetings with God, He provides the vision of how He wants me to show up each week, how, and who He has called me to serve.
What does being a SAVEDpreneur™ mean to you? What is your kingdom assignment and how are you carrying out your assignment now?
My Kingdom assignment is to help high-achieving Christian women in leadership break free from burnout, overwork, and feeling unseen — by aligning their faith, family, and career.
My mission is to guide them in leading boldly and building a lasting legacy without sacrificing what matters most. Too many women feel like they have to choose between success and their values. I show them that they do not. They can step into their God-given purpose with confidence, clarity, and balance.
I carry out my assignment through the scriptural guidance in the She Leads Boldly Skool Community, weekly Firstfruits Circle sessions, the She Leads Boldly podcast, Becoming Her workshops, and any other avenue the Lord sees fit for me to serve the women of His Kingdom.
What did God call you to build, and how did you know? What steps did you take to be obedient? How quickly did it take you to answer the call?
God called me to create Transform the GAAP — Goals Aligned Achieving Purpose — a Christ-centered mentorship community for wives and mothers who lead: at work, at home, and in the marketplace. Transform the GAAP exists to help high-capacity women return to God’s pace. We walk alongside ambitious wives and mothers who love Jesus, love their families, and feel called to lead — but refuse to lose themselves in the process.
God confirmed this path through His Word and the scriptures that stood out to me, through what He called me to do in my weekly business meetings with Him, and through the women He allowed to connect with and reach out to me for prayer and guidance.
Once I felt confirmed as an entrepreneur, I moved in obedience — establishing an LLC, posting online, getting a business coach, and joining like-minded cohorts. But I still had doubt because things did not look like I expected. It took a couple of years to get to this point, because God would give me a step and I would go a mile, assuming I knew how He wanted me to show up. He had to teach me to trust His pace.
Where did obedience cost you something—money, time, identity, approval? And how did you handle the tension?
My obedience cost me my financial peace. I went months at a time with no income. My obedience caused me to redefine my identity — who I was called to be versus who I was showing up as. My obedience cost me the approval of close family and friends. They could not support what they could not understand, and I could not fully understand it myself in the beginning. To them, it seemed as if I was being selfish or lazy to leave my high-paying corporate role for entrepreneurship, and then not returning to corporate when things were not going well financially.
This was really hard. I cried often. I prayed for God to change my circumstances, for miracles, signs, and wonders. I prayed for God to change others’ minds and opinions about me. But God showed me He was refining me. The old version of me could not sustain the level of pressure, discipline, or stewardship required for where He is taking me.
My commitment to obedience also impacted my health — a breast cancer diagnosis that I believe was God getting my attention to rest — and my marriage, when my husband threatened divorce. God also showed me that I cannot be truly obedient without surrendering control to Him. Through surrender, He increased my discernment and revealed the people in my life who could not go with me to the next level He has for me.
What upcoming projects are you working on that you want our readers to know about?
In January 2026, I hosted ‘Becoming Her: The Wife God Called’ — a Holy Spirit-led event that God has now expanded into a full series. I will be delivering ‘Becoming Her: A Journey Into Wholeness’ workshops to women, church groups, and other organizations, helping women understand the journey from the woman she is becoming to the whole woman she already is.
I also have the She Leads Boldly community on Skool, an extension of the She Leads Boldly podcast community and the weekly Firstfruits Circle — a small leadership sanctuary for Christian wives and mothers who are carrying a lot but do not want to keep doing it alone.
