Jenevy Sims has been building for 18 years — and she has finally been called to go public with what God gave her in private. As the founder of The Evolve Firm and Evolve Events, co-owner of The Collabrium, and Vice President of Business Professionals of San Antonio, she operates at the highest levels of strategy, community leadership, and Kingdom purpose. In January 2026, she published Proverbs and Profits: A Bible Study that Unlocks the Divine Strategy for the Modern Marketplace — a declaration that the ultimate business manual was written long before any mastermind existed. Jenevy is not interested in the world’s hollow applause. She is building something that sets people free.

Let's lean in.

Tell us who you are and what is your God-driven purpose?

My name is Jenevy Sims — a wife of 18 years to my husband Eddie, a mother of two, and an entrepreneur dedicated to the evolution of the modern marketplace. As the owner of The Evolve Firm, Evolve Events, and co-owner of The Collabrium, and Vice President of Business Professionals of San Antonio (BPSA), my life is a blend of high-level strategy and community leadership. Whether I am serving on the advisory board for the Children’s Rehabilitation Institute, Fashion for Life, or editing for SA Monthly Magazine, my focus remains the same: excellence.

However, my God-driven purpose is what fuels these roles. I am called to bridge the gap between faith and industry. I believe we must stop separating our Sunday worship from our Monday mornings — God must be the center of our business and all that we do.

In January 2026, I published Proverbs and Profits: A Bible Study that Unlocks the Divine Strategy for the Modern Marketplace to show that while the world offers many masterminds, the ultimate success strategies were written long ago in the Book of Proverbs. My purpose is to teach entrepreneurs that we are Kingdom vessels first. We should not be chasing profits — profit is simply the natural result of alignment and obedience to God’s divine strategy.

What was your first encounter with God and how did you know you were saved?

My journey to faith began in the Philippines, where religion was a landscape of strict tradition and, at times, trauma. I remember being five years old and watching a live re-enactment of the crucifixion. Seeing a man actually nailed to a cross left me terrified — for years, that was the only face I could associate with Jesus. I grew up going through the motions of Catholicism — communion, dedication, confession — but it all felt like a hollow ritual. My turning point came when I witnessed the hypocrisy of a local priest. Seeing a life that did not match the sermon made me realize there had to be more.

At 14, my stepdad gave his life to Christ and began attending Calvary Chapel in Hawaii. I volunteered to go with him, and the moment I stepped inside, the atmosphere changed. It was not a ritual — it was a presence. I felt an overwhelming peace, a sense of belonging I had never known. The pastor’s message pierced through years of fear and made me weep. In that moment, I knew I was saved because I no longer wanted to perform for God — I was hungry to know Him. I dove in headfirst, seeking a conversation where I could talk to God and He would talk back to me. That was the day religion died, and my relationship with Jesus began.

Success in the Kingdom looks different from the success of the world. How do you explain the difference?

The world defines success by the volume of the applause. When you operate out of your natural gifts and talents, the world claps — but that praise is hollow. It stays in the room and eventually fades.

Kingdom success is measured by freedom. When you walk in your anointing, people get set free. The difference is that natural talent entertains, but anointing breaks yokes.

Success in the world is a spotlight. Success in the Kingdom is a searchlight. In the Kingdom, you are not successful because people know your name — you are successful because, through your obedience, people are being set free from their chains.

What does having “vision” mean to you? What is your vision?

To me, vision is not about a five-year plan or a personal goal board — vision is God’s instruction for your life. It is the ability to discern where your own ambitions end and His assignment begins. Having vision means being brave enough to take your well-laid plans and redirect them the moment they do not align with His.

My vision is to build a global ecosystem where business and faith are no longer segregated — where entrepreneurs operate as Kingdom vessels, using the strategies of Proverbs and Profits to achieve success that is not just measured in numbers, but in the lives set free through their obedience.

What does being a SAVEDpreneur™ mean to you? What is your kingdom assignment and how are you carrying out your assignment now?

To me, being a SAVEDpreneur™ means my identity as a redeemed daughter of God completely eclipses my identity as a CEO. It means I do not just take my faith to work — I allow my faith to be the work. It is the realization that my businesses are not my own. They are altars where I serve my Creator.

My Kingdom assignment is to bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and the modern marketplace. I am called to dismantle the lie that you have to choose between being spiritually sound and professionally successful. I am carrying this out now through Proverbs and Profits, teaching entrepreneurs that when they stop chasing the world’s hollow applause and start walking in their divine anointing, they do not just make a living — they set people free. Whether I am in a board meeting for BPSA or a styling session for SA Monthly, I am carrying out my assignment by being a visible, uncompromising vessel for Kingdom strategy.

What did God call you to build, and how did you know? What steps did you take to be obedient? How quickly did it take you to answer the call?

What God called me to build was a bridge — a way for the entrepreneur to bring their whole self, their faith, their family, and their firm, to the table without apology. I knew this was my calling because every time I tried to separate my faith from my business, the profit felt hollow. I realized that my success was tied to my obedience, not my effort.

The steps I took toward obedience were intentional. I began to treat the Book of Proverbs as my primary business manual. I started The Evolve Firm and Evolve Events as vessels for this mission, and I stepped into leadership roles at BPSA to serve the city I love. How quickly did I answer? I have been a work in progress for years, but the moment I published Proverbs and Profits in January 2026, I officially signed my name to the call. Now I am in a season of yes, responding to His instructions with the speed of a woman who knows her time is a stewardship.

Where did obedience cost you something—money, time, identity, approval? And how did you handle the tension?

Obedience cost me my seat at certain tables so I could build the one God intended. The hardest part was the relationships — learning firsthand that separation is often the prerequisite for elevation. Isolation comes before elevation.

When God calls you to be a Kingdom vessel, He will often prune your circle to ensure your anointing is not diluted by outside noise.

The tension was real, but I handled it by focusing on my assignment. I realized that my loyalty to God’s plan had to be greater than my fear of being misunderstood. I stopped trying to explain my why to people who were not part of my where. Now, as I lead The Evolve Firm and BPSA, I am surrounded by divine connections that reflect the alignment I fought so hard to protect.
