The SAVEDpreneur™ Spotlight: Emani Guy, Founder of Made New Marketing
God called me to build a community of business owners and ministries that are ready to step fully into the visions they have received — not waiting for the perfect time, but allowing God to lead them as they build and the vision becomes clearer.
Emani Guy did not start a marketing agency. She wrote a devotional. And then God took it from there. What began as a season of healing became a testimony, the testimony became a devotional, the devotional became a ministry, and the ministry became Made New Marketing — a faith-driven multimedia agency built entirely on obedience. She did not plan this. She surrendered to it. And now she helps others do the same, showing entrepreneurs and ministries what it looks like to build with Christ as both the foundation and the continuous provision.
Let's lean in.
Tell us who you are and what is your God-driven purpose?
My name is Emani Guy — an author, business owner, marketing strategist, and speaker. I am the Founder of Made New Marketing, a faith-driven multimedia agency that was birthed through obedience to sharing my testimony in 2021 and writing a devotional. A season of healing birthed my devotional, the devotional birthed my ministry, and my ministry became my business. Each step was the result of surrendering and allowing the Lord to bring me to where I am now.
Although I have an agency, my purpose is to help people live a life transformed in Christ — in relationship with Him, walking fully in the visions He has placed within them, and living a life that is made new daily.
What does it mean to be saved and how do you live a saved lifestyle?
Being saved is more than just a phrase. It is faith in Jesus Christ, trusting that He died for our sins and rose again. Living a saved life means surrendering to the Lord daily — allowing Him to prune and shape us to become more like Him. Luke 9:23 reminds us that this surrender is ongoing: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” This verse illustrates that living a saved life requires dying to our flesh, following Jesus moment by moment, and living as a sacrifice that glorifies God rather than ourselves.
At the same time, living a saved life does not require perfection. It is only through Jesus that we can be reconciled with the Father and experience unmerited grace. Salvation is not about what we say or how we appear — it is about being renewed by Christ each day. I often pray, “God, renew me every second, every minute, every hour.” True surrender is continual, because any moment we stop yielding to Him, fleshly desires and thoughts can begin to creep in.
Success in the Kingdom looks different from the success of the world. How do you explain the difference?
Glory is not about what we receive on earth, but in heaven. Success in the world is defined by what you can see — money, accolades, and performance. I used to believe that too, until I found myself burnt out, tired, and struggling to enjoy what the Lord was actually calling me to do.
Success in the Kingdom is based on what you cannot see. It is about souls and light.
It is being focused less on money and accolades and more on the people behind the work you do. This is not to say the other things do not come — but they should never be your primary focus.
It starts with checking your heart posture. Are your successes rooted in self-glorification or the glory of Christ? The root behind your why reveals where you truly believe your success comes from. What I have learned is that success is rooted in rest. The more you rest in Christ, the more you allow Him to direct the clients, the places, and the impact. It all flows from Him and goes exactly where He wants to send you.
When God gave you a vision for your life and work, what did it look like? Are you working to fulfill it? How?
The vision looked like chaos before it became something. It started with losing a job and the Lord sending me into full-time entrepreneurship — not having money for bills, everything piling up, and truly having faith in where He was sending me even when all I could see was uncertainty.
It also came with moments of questioning God, because my business is not something I had experience in or ever thought I would do. That is what is amazing about God. When He chose me for this work, I felt completely unqualified because the experience I had built was not in the field He was calling me into. But every step, He revealed more about the journey, and the question of “Why?” turned into “Lord, I trust You.” He truly calls the unqualified, showing us that we must depend on Him — and He will give us the provision to walk out what He has placed in us.
I am actively working to fulfill it, not just through my company, but in every room the Lord sends me into. I have rebranded my company to help those with God-given visions market them effectively. Everything I am doing is built on Him, and I am working each day — even when clients may not be coming — to fulfill what He sends me to do. I focus on the day in front of me, because each day fulfilled is part of a greater vision.
What does being a SAVEDpreneur™ mean to you? What is your kingdom assignment and how are you carrying out your assignment now?
Being a SAVEDpreneur™ means that my identity in Christ leads everything. Before I am a founder, a strategist, or a marketer, I am His. My relationship with Christ must come before everything else, because I cannot truly pour into those He has called me to serve without first being rooted in Him.
My Kingdom assignment is to help those with God-given visions build with clarity, strategy, and intentional execution — and to show others what it looks like to build with Christ as the foundation and continuous provision.
This shows up in my agency every day. I help people see that the vision God has placed inside of them is so much more than them. It was never just about you. It is for others, and that changes everything about how you build.
What did God call you to build, and how did you know? What steps did you take to be obedient? How quickly did it take you to answer the call?
God called me to build a community of business owners and ministries that are ready to step fully into the visions they have received — not waiting for the perfect time, but allowing God to lead them as they build and the vision becomes clearer.
I know this because when I stopped trying to build my business on my own, I went through the very process I now help others overcome. What He gives us, we cannot do apart from Him. Being obedient meant I had to surrender what I had started to build in my own strength, let clients go, and change everything about my agency that was not aligned with the vision God had for it. I had to sit with the Lord and heal from the past. I had to fast and pray to hear from Him on a deeper level.
Ultimately, it took almost a year of surrendering who I thought I was supposed to be for who He wrote me to be. When I pivoted my agency and stepped into ministry, it took time to accept that I was actually qualified. But over the years the Lord has shifted my mind to see that it is Him who makes us able to walk these things out. We have to depend on Him completely.
Now when the Lord calls me to go, my answer is yes — and I go as He leads.
Where did obedience cost you something—money, time, identity, approval? And how did you handle the tension?
Obedience has cost me all of the above, but especially money and identity. You never realize how much your identity is rooted in things other than Christ until you allow Him into areas you never have before.
In the beginning, I struggled. My spirit wanted to change, but my flesh wanted to stay in the same cycle. I handled the tension by staying in the Word and seeking the Lord before anything else. I was honest with Him about my thoughts and feelings. I cried, and at times my heart hardened.
Then came another level of obedience — surrendering my anger and bitterness over the things I had to let go, and allowing the Lord to heal me and reshape my mind and heart. The tension lifted when I started reading more and allowing the Lord to freely remove the things that no longer served where He was taking me.
