Tell us who you are and when did you know God was calling you to do more and be more?

I am Lauren A. Morgan and first and foremost I am a daughter to the King. I knew around 2011 that God was calling me to do more. I was isolated from all friends and family for work and was in a depressed state for the first time in my life. It was there that He met me and showed me how He wanted to have a personal relationship with me, not just the one I grew up with.

Who first introduced you to God and what was your salvation experience?

I grew up in the church and was baptized at the age of 4 by my own decision. Looking back now, I can see that was the Holy Spirit working even then.

Success in the Kingdom looks different from the success of the world. How do you explain the difference?

Success in the Kingdom to me looks like creating disciples for Christ.

Having the ability to have a business gives a great opportunity to do this. Every encounter with someone is an opportunity to represent Christ. Doing life with people allows them to see that you are set apart. There is something different about you.

What does having “vision” mean to you? What is your vision?

Having a vision means you understand God’s calling for your life, to the best of your ability, because we know in part and see in part. But you do your best to remain aligned and connected to Him to walk out that calling, when and where He says you should.

What does being a SAVEDpreneur™ mean to you? What is your kingdom assignment and how are you carrying out your assignment now?

SAVEDpreneur™ means you are a disciple for Christ in the marketplace. My assignment is to activate the law for entrepreneurs and business owners, and I do so as a business attorney equipping them with the protection and strategy to grow and profit their business. All in all, more wins and more finances for the Kingdom.

What did God call you to build, and how did you know? What steps did you take to be obedient? How quickly did it take you to answer the call?

God told me to build a firm that supports business owners. I know because everything I tried before made me uncomfortable and I was not content. Even on my hardest days in business, I know I am exactly where He wants me to be, and that makes it worth it.

Where did obedience cost you something—money, time, identity, approval? And how did you handle the tension?

Obedience has cost me everything. A life of comfort, finances, dying to self, and a continued walk of faith. Relationships and many uncomfortable conversations. All for His glory.
