The SAVEDpreneur™ Spotlight: McKenzie Sellers, Subconscious Reprogramming Facilitator
We are removing everything you believe you are not, to restore who God says we are. Bridging the gap between God and science, and getting to be a vessel for His healing work, has been the privilege of a lifetime.
McKenzie Sellers stood on the streets where Jesus walked, taught, healed, and rose again — and something in her DNA recognized its Creator. That was 13 years ago, and she remembers every detail vividly. Since then, she has walked away from a multiple six-figure hairstyling career of 17 years, moved states, switched industries completely, and built a practice rooted in neuroscience and healing. As a Subconscious Reprogramming Facilitator, she helps women remove every belief about who they are not, so they can return to who God says they are. She is not just building a business. She is bridging the gap between God and science — and calling it holy.
Let's lean in.
Tell us who you are and when did you know God was calling you to do more and be more?
I am McKenzie. I do subconscious reprogramming for a living. I was a hairstylist for 17 years, and I always felt like the healing realm was where I belonged — working with women, building relationships, restoring confidence, seeing and connecting with others. But it reached a point where I knew I had outgrown my environment. It was time to retire, move states, and start over. Switch industries completely. That took a massive leap of faith, trust in God, and a season of rest.
I found my way through studying neuroscience, and getting to help heal the mind and the nervous system felt like such a holy path.
We are removing everything you believe you are not, to restore who God says we are. Bridging the gap between God and science, and getting to be a vessel for His healing work, has been the privilege of a lifetime.
Who first introduced you to God and what was your salvation experience?
My parents. They brought me up in a loving, Christ-centered home, and I love them for it. They are the best people I know — people who have suffered beyond measure and yet, you would never know. Their faith renews me constantly.
I also had the chance to walk the streets where Jesus walked, taught, healed, and died and rose again. It fundamentally changed me as a soul. My DNA recognized my Creator. Everything in me knew in that moment, and I could never go back to not knowing. That was 13 years ago, and I remember every detail vividly still.
Success in the Kingdom looks different from the success of the world. How do you explain the difference?
Success feels like peace. It feels like resting in Christ — a nervous system that is calm, a mind that holds beliefs supporting the teachings of God, and a soul intimately connected to its Creator. I believe in co-creating with Christ, and that He wants us all to be successful, blessed, and a blessing to others.
If I can help do my part to remind others of our innate worthiness, I am successful. I am doing my calling and walking my path.
When God gave you a vision for your life and work, what did it look like? Are you working to fulfill it? How?
My first vision was the version of myself I had been searching for over many years — calm, confident, at ease, grounded, free. But I was deep in dysregulation and lost. I saw future me. The me that my soul always knew I was, and that God simply had to remind me of.
I have seen other visions since then — of doing this work and the impact it would have. Bringing women back to safety, to peace, to their bodies, and to their inner knowing. The knowing that is connected to our Source. And I have been on that journey ever since.
What does being a SAVEDpreneur™ mean to you? What is your kingdom assignment and how are you carrying out your assignment now?
Being a SAVEDpreneur™ means sharing the message of the Good Lord, walking in purpose, loving like Him, and helping to heal as Jesus did. He is my muse and my co-creator. I continue to show up, share my own healing journey, and invite others to participate in it too.
What did God call you to build, and how did you know? What steps did you take to be obedient? How quickly did it take you to answer the call?
I am currently building a one-on-one practice and workshops where I create impact using neuroscience — removing blocks of who we are not, so we can return to our divine essence. I have been building and will continue to build until I am called elsewhere.
Where did obedience cost you something—money, time, identity, approval? And how did you handle the tension?
Obedience to God cost me my multiple six-figure business, my friend group, my state, and my comfort. There have been many times in my life where I have lost things but gained Him — and it is always worth it.
I am always blessed afterward, and the path always ends up making sense.
I take all my frustrations and fear to Him and release the rest. I keep moving and trusting, knowing the path will always unfold.
What upcoming projects are you working on that you want our readers to know about?
I offer one-on-one sessions to remove and work through blocks, free group masterminds monthly, and team workshops where I come to your company or brand and lead a full-day session to remove blocks and reprogram the mind.
What is the best way for our readers to keep up with you?
