The SAVEDpreneur™ Spotlight: Candice Carelse, Conveyancing Secretary in Property Law
Kingdom success is knowing, doing, and fulfilling the will of God rather than achieving worldly status or accumulating material wealth.
Candice Carelse loves God with her whole heart — and everything she does flows from that. Based in South Africa, she is a woman on assignment: empowering women, interceding for her community, and believing God for something big for the youth of her city. Her story is one of obedience in the small things, faithfulness in the quiet seasons, and a heart that keeps showing up with kindness, even when the road is hard. She may not have all the details yet, but she has the faith to keep moving forward.
Let's lean in.
Tell us who you are and what is your God-driven purpose?
My name is Candice. I love God with all my heart, and I am dedicated to empowering women and building a brighter future for our youth and children. My God-driven purpose is a life centered on knowing, loving, and serving God. It involves bringing glory to God and serving others.
What does it mean to be saved and how do you live a saved lifestyle?
To be saved is to be rescued from the spiritual and eternal consequences of sin — separation from God — and to be restored into a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. It is a free gift received by grace through faith in Jesus’ death and resurrection, not through one’s own good works.
Success in the Kingdom looks different from the success of the world. How do you explain the difference?
Kingdom success is knowing, doing, and fulfilling the will of God rather than achieving worldly status or accumulating material wealth.
It is centered on Christ-likeness, character excellence, and impacting others, with success measured by faithfulness to one’s divine purpose and the quality of their relationship with God.
If you could partner with anyone to fulfill your vision, who would you work with and why?
Pastor Charné Pretorius of 3C Church. She is focused on spiritual growth, restoration, and empowering women to build a brighter future for children — which aligns directly with the vision God has placed on my heart.
What does being a SAVEDpreneur™ mean to you? What is your kingdom assignment and how are you carrying out your assignment now?
Being a SAVEDpreneur™ means fulfilling my kingdom assignment. I am able to tell my story and encourage so many young women and teens. My Kingdom assignment is to serve — to share God’s love through humble actions, to encourage women, teens, friends, and family through the Word of God. I also provide food and clothing to homeless people in my community.
What did God call you to build, and how did you know? What steps did you take to be obedient? How quickly did it take you to answer the call?
God called me to encourage people, to intercede for them, to pray and fast instead of going around and gossiping. God called me to help whenever and however I can — with an open heart and without judgment. We are all going through things in life, so let’s be kind.
Where did obedience cost you something—money, time, identity, approval? And how did you handle the tension?
When God started to give me revelations, the hardest part was having to tell someone what I had seen in order to protect them. Most people think I’m crazy. But obedience is not about being understood — it is about being faithful.
What upcoming projects are you working on that you want our readers to know about?
God has placed something huge on my heart. He wants me to host a Combined Youth Gathering in our city, and I am trusting Him for further knowledge and understanding to bring that vision to life.
What is the best way for our readers to keep up with you?
