The SAVEDpreneur™ Spotlight: Beverly Walthour, Business Strategist for Christian Female Coaches

Beverly Walthour knows what it looks like to build — and then build again. As a business strategist for established Christian female coaches and a four-time business owner with 16 years of entrepreneurial experience, she has made it her mission to help women generate more impact and income without compromising their faith. Through her coaching, her signature planners, and her Kingdom Coaches Sales Academy, Beverly is creating space for Christian women to be unapologetically excellent — and unapologetically profitable.

Let's lean in.

Tell us who you are and what is your God-driven purpose?

I'm Beverly Walthour, a Business Strategist for Established Christian Female Coaches. I show them how to apply BOTH Kingdom and Business Principles so that they generate more sales. I've been a business owner for 16 years and this is business number four. I know my purpose is to teach. Every business and career I've had involves teaching...although the audience may change, teaching is still at the heart of it all.

I am also the creator of The COACHE$ Profit Planner™ and The ENTREPRENEUR$ Profit Planners™ both of which are 90-Day Planners designed to help Christian Coaches SKYROCKET their profits.I’m also the owner of BCW Candle Boutique where we make 100% soy wax candles with our signature wax flower on top.

Who first introduced you to God and what was your salvation experience?

I grew up in church. My mom ensured we were there on Sundays when we were younger. When we got older, she allowed us to choose if we wanted to still go. Since it was a small church without many young people, I stopped going. When I went off to college, I attended a few times. It wasn't until I became an adult that I developed a relationship with GOD myself. I joined a local church and started serving. It was one of the best decisions of my life.

Many of us want to be successful. What does success mean to you?

Success to me is being obedient to what it is that GOD has called you to. When you follow what He has purposed you to do, you will be successful.

When God gave you a vision for your life/work, what did it look like? Are you working to fulfill it? How?

The vision GOD gave me for my life/work was me teaching others. When I saw myself teaching, I was on the stage speaking to thousands of other people. Although that vision has not been fulfilled yet (I have spoken on stages to hundreds of people) I know it will happen because it hasn't gone away. He's shown me that I would be teaching different audiences different concepts/topics. Also, GOD has sent quite a few people to confirm that vision.

What does being a SAVEDpreneur™ mean to you? What is your kingdom assignment and how are you carrying out your assignment now?

A SAVEDpreneur is someone who honors GOD in their business by exhibiting the characteristics of Christ. They operate in excellence and integrity and ensure they represent Christ in word and deed. My Kingdom assignment in the marketplace is to show Christian entrepreneurs how to generate more IMPACT & INCOME without compromising their Christian Values. I am carrying out my assignment on a daily basis through my business and planners.

What did God call you to build, and how did you know? What steps did you take to be obedient? How quickly did it take you to answer the call?

In this season, GOD has called me to build a space for Christian Female Coaches to be comfortable with making money and talking about money. Once He gave me this assignment about 10 years ago, I moved almost immediately because He gave me the steps and I moved. When I have peace, I tend to move almost immediately.

Where did obedience cost you something—money, time, identity, approval? And how did you handle the tension?

Obedience usually costs me something almost always…even if it’s me getting outside my comfort zone and silencing the thoughts in my head trying to keep me “safe”. The biggest area where obedience has cost me all three of these is being in entrepreneurship full time. I went from a stable career in education to moving into entrepreneurship full time where there is uncertainty almost daily. I handle this tension by staying in His Word and being in a community of other Believers in Business.
